A Startling Fact About How To Have A Lucid Dream

If you've ever consulted with a dream counselor, you may have asked (or heard of) Lucid Dreaming. Some people interested in their dream time wonder if they can really have a lucid dream. Other people express confusion and are almost afraid to ask about inducing lucid dreams. But it's not scary, or even confusing. If you follow these few pieces of advice you will be able to have a lucid dream in a short time

One of the great things about Lucid Dreaming is that you can get inside your dream and have a great time! Everything is possible, and the best part is that you can't get hurt! Basically when you have a lucid dream, you have a conscious awareness that you are dreaming and can enter into the dream whenever you want. Since you are 'conscious' you should be able to remember all the fun you had.

As soon as you get good at having a lucid dream, you can start to experiment getting inside your dreams. Pretty soon, you'll be flying; having unlimited sexual encounters with the person of your choice; finally be the life of a party, or whatever you want to do. With a little practice, anyone can learn how to have a lucid dream and start becoming part of the amazing dream world.

The reason you can have a lucid dream is because as you sleep, your unconscious mind takes over. Then you start to think and ponder the events of the day. After all that thinking is done, your mind moves on to things that you would LIKE to happen, but probably never will in real life. You're still half-way awake at this time, but as soon as you start to actually sleep, you start to dream The reason you need to practice remembering your dreams is because as you start to remember, your dreams increasingly become more familiar. This makes it easier to identify when you're dreaming, and also easier to have a lucid dream and not wake up before you're done playing. Remembering your dream isn't easy is because the part of your mind that dreams has no memory. That's why it's best if you try to remembering just as you are waking up. If you don't remember them early on, you probably won't remember them at all.

A good lucid dreaming technique try is to attempt to have a lucid dream when you're more fully rested. If you work Monday through Friday, try to induce lucid dreaming early Sunday morning. In fact, the last sleep cycle before you awake in the morning is the longest dream cycle, and the best time to have a lucid dream. When you're not so tired, you have more control over what you will do when you become lucid. And that's where the fun comes in!
